L’EFFET MIROIR
Léonore Confino
Théophile is a successful writer on the decline. He finally rediscovers his inspiration by writing a poetic, aquatic tale. But his family’s interpretation of the text turns out to be cataclysmic: they recognise themselves terribly in the characters of sea urchins, octopus and other sea creatures, detecting hidden messages in the metaphors. Tonight, they gather for dinner to settle the score.
