Le 10 décembre 1946, au Grand Hôtel de Stockholm, Otto Hahn attend de recevoir le prix Nobel de chimie. Peu avant l’heure, il est rejoint dans sa suite par Lise Meitner, son ancienne collaboratrice avec laquelle il a travaillé plus de trente ans. Mais Lise ne vient pas le féliciter. Elle vient régler ses comptes.

On 10 December 1946, at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm, Otto Hahn was waiting to receive the Nobel Prize for Chemistry. Shortly beforehand, he was joined in his suite by Lise Meitner, his former colleague with whom he had worked for more than thirty years. But Lise has not come to congratulate him. She had come to settle a score.
