Le troisième épisode des Fabuleuses est consacré à Rosalind Franklin, physico-chimiste britannique mondialement connue malgré son jeune âge lorsqu’elle arrive à Londres pour travailler sur l’ADN en 1951. Elle s’y sent vite très seule, dans un monde scientifique très masculin. Ses collègues, Wilkins, Crick et Watson, n’ont aucun scrupule pour lui voler son travail, ce qui leur vaudra de recevoir le prix Nobel de médecine pour la découverte de la structure en double hélice de l’ADN en 1962.

The third episode of Les Fabuleuses is dedicated to Rosalind Franklin, a British physicist and chemist who was world-renowned despite her young age when she arrived in London to work on DNA in 1951. She quickly felt very alone in a very male-dominated scientific world. Her colleagues, Wilkins, Crick and Watson, had no qualms about stealing her work, which earned them the Nobel Prize in Medicine for the discovery of the double helix structure of DNA in 1962.
